Martin Baker Ejects their Old Website!
We have just had the privilege of working with the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft ejection seats. Martin Baker has delivered over 70,000 ejection seats to 93 airforces around the world and have saved over 7000 aircrew lives.
We learnt some amazing facts whilst working on this project and we would love to share them:
- If you get ejected from an aircraft, you get to join a club and get a special tie! The club has over 5800 members who have had their lives saved, thanks to the Martin Baker technology.
- The latest ejection was on July 3rd 2012, it was successful!
- The first ever live ejection from a seat (after testing) took place on 30th May 1949 by Jo Lancaster, over Southam, Warwickshire.
- 1 in 10 of the ejection seats is used.
Not only is it a great, new, up-to-date website with a fantastic new design and full of facts, but it’s also responsive – so it works across multiple platforms, PC, tablet and mobile. We are really pleased with the results.
