New stripes for Zebra Finance

We’re loving responsive web design here at Webexpectations HQ, and have just put another site live for Zebra Finance.

Zebra Finance

Having previously designed product sites for Zebra Finance, it was time for the big daddy of the herd to get a new face lift. Zebra Finance offer specialist finance provisions to a wide range of markets.

The new site uses the much-loved by Google method of a responsive solution to gracefully scale the website to work across various digital touch points including, mobile, tablets and desktops, resulting in a lovely user experience for all.

“Working with the new responsive technology was a real eye opener. It is not a wonder the site has been nominated for several awards.” Richard Frizoni, Project Manager

This looks really cool

On another note, does putting content like this all on 1 page affect SEO?

This is a good question. Having a single page web site can affect SEO, but how much depends on the goals of the SEO campaign.

For instance, if you have a successful web site that receives good organic traffic and you suddenly amalgamated all of the pages into a single one, this will have a negative impact on the SEO.

The reason for this is SEO is undertaken on a page by page basis. So you may have a page for blue widgets and a page for red widgets, if you were too suddenly merge the two together this could potentially dilute the weight each has in the search engines.

So in the case of this site, where services and products do not to be promoted, there’s not a requirement to have strategically optimised pages. They need only to be found by their brand name, which they appear top for (see here). Thus this is a scenario where a one page site will not have a negative impact on SEO.
