The Client
ICI Paints have some of the world's leading paint and decorative brands such as Dulux, Cuprinol and Polycell.
They required a complete overhaul for ICIPaints.com - their global flagship website with information on over 20 brands in 180 countries.
As a truly international business the new website would play a leading role in their global marketing strategy.
The Brief
The principle role of the new website would be to direct consumers and interior design professionals to information on a specific brand of their choice.
ICIPaints.com would need to act as an easy-to-use portal for both consumers and business partners to any of ICI Paint's existing worldwide brand websites.
As with any leading corporate website the site would need to adhere to strict usability and accessibility guidelines and work with a full range of different browsers.
Our Solution
At the outset Webexpectations.com worked with ICI's e-marketing specialists to outline a set of browser, usability and accessibility guidelines for the new site.
We then worked to identify suitable design layouts based on the site's information architecture and in-turn different design concepts were developed for how the new site would look and work.
The result is an easy-to-use, intuitive website that has met and surpassed the client's original brief and has received excellent feedback and growing traffic volumes.
