TNT Post is the principal challenger to Royal Mail in the recently liberalised postal market. Offering a range of sophisticated mailing and doordrop services.
TNT provides businesses and consumers worldwide with an extensive range of mail and express delivery services. Serving more than 200 countries and employing over 128,000 people, TNT has reported revenues of €13.6 billion for 2005.
The Brief
TNT Post was formed by the merger of TNT Group's addressed and unaddressed mail operations in the UK - TNT Mail and Circular Distributors. When these two organisations combined, a new corporate website for TNT Post was required.
Webexpectations.com were asked to work on the planning, design and development for the new site, based on strict corporate brand guidelines.
Our Solution
Simplicity and ease-of-use were central to the client's brief, with a range of information from what had previously been two different companies, the new site needed to present a new unified brand message.
A tabbed website was decided upon, a proven navigation technique that is intuitive and familiar to users. The new site was also fresh and engaging, TNT are known worldwide for their strong brand image and it was important that we reflected this.
