Revolutionary Website

Revolutionary Website
22nd September 2006

Webexpectations.com has been thrilled to design and develop an amazing new online website - geared up to revolutionise the recruitment marketplace.

RecruitmentRevolution.com is an online recruitment portal that aims to fully automate the recruitment process for temps and permanent staff. The website leads the way by:

  • Allowing companies to advertise their jobs and search for candidates at no cost,
  • Allowing employers to test and interview candidates before charging between £300 and a maximum of £1000 (average £400) for placing a permanent candidate, regardless of the starting salary,
  • Adding a low flat rate hourly fee (little more than £2) for the supply of temporary workers,
  • Enabling companies to book temporary candidates through a fully automated online system (the system also allows candidates to pitch different hourly rates depending on the job),
  • Applying an eBay-style feedback system (Online Reference Score ™) to the temporary job market,

RecruitmentRevolution.com Co-founder Jamie Mistlin comments,
"The concept for RecruitmentRevolution.com was born when I temped whilst studying for my degree: I was startled at the discrepancy between my hourly earnings and what the agency was actually paying for my services. It seemed obvious to reduce the middle man fee allowing the client to pay less, with the candidate also benefiting. Frustrated by the narrow minded approach of agencies, Anna and I felt that companies and clients needed a more transparent platform on which to communicate directly without a greedy and interfering consultant."

This project will no doubt change the way we all think about recruitment and make all HR departments lives easier!

20th August 2006

Alivestock.com is a fantastic new recruitment website for the promotions industry that has been designed and developed by Webexpectations.com.

Individuals interested in working with the promotions sector register and upload their details onto the site where they are then categorised and sorted based on a range of criteria.

Promotion agencies are given secure access to the site to search for staff with specific characteristics and skills.

"Alivestock.com offers agencies the opportunity to search for the perfect promotional staff for the job. e.g. If they need to find staff with blonde hair, a driving licence, the ability to juggle and they must also be available to work next Wednesday in Brighton then tick the boxes and search our database."
Said Project Manager, Kate Sandall.

The founders required a 'funky' attractive design, and our designers really enjoyed letting their hair down and going against the traditional corporate serious designs that we are used to working with.

"As all of the staff registered on this website will have lovely photos of themselves, we put their images inside a Polaroid frame, which really added to the modern feel of the website. The team at Alivestock have creative brains and loved the reality of the images we used and also loved the trendy bright colours used on the design, it was great fun to work on."
Said Webexpectations.com Designer, Sheetal Masih.

TNT Post Delivered on Time

TNT Post Delivered on Time
11 May 2006

We're thrilled to announce the launch of the new TNT Post website - designed and developed by Webexpectations.com. TNT Post commissioned Webexpectations.com as their digital agency for the website which formed part of a major UK re-branding project.

TNT Post is the principal challenger to Royal Mail in the recently liberalised postal market. Providing a range of addressed and unaddressed postal services, they deliver over 3 million postal items a day and reach 26 million households in the UK.

"At TNT Post we have re-branded our Mail and Doordrop divisions under TNT Post and we needed a pro-active and reactive web agency to combine our two old sites but with a new look and new content.
Webexpectations.com had to work to short lead times and some mandatory design and layout rules yet still make our new site unique, useful and stickable. We were delighted that that the site went live in time for our re-brand and we are pleased with the result. We will continue to develop the site with Webexpectations.com using their knowledge and experience so that our visitors gain even more from their visit."
Tim Rix, Business Director, TNT Post

The new website will support TNT Post's brand position as market leader and will underpin the company's ambition to be recognised as the industry benchmark for quality of service, efficiency and customer service.

Integrated into the site is TNT Post's new savings calculator allowing potential customers to instantly see potential savings they could make over Royal Mail. Webexpectations.com will also be responsible for the online marketing of the site through an aggressive search engine marketing campaign.

Secure new website for CNL

Secure new website for CNL
9 January 2006

Computer Network Limited (CNL) was pleased to launch its new website in October 05. CNL is a leading UK provider of integrated IP security solutions, providing services for a variety of organisations, specifically, local government, schools, corporations, the police, facilities management organisations and security consultants.

The design of the website was vital in the efficient implementation of this project, as CNL has two very distinctive applications: security solutions and integrated software solutions. Webexpectations.com had to make sure there was clear definition between these departments, but also to make it obvious these services are provided by one company.

Sheetal Masih, designer, said:
"We decided to opt for a split introduction page to steer the users immediately to the destination page. As well as separate menu systems for each department, we also included a shared menu to ensure that the two departments could share general company information. Colour cues were used as an additional navigation tool."

As well as a new website, CNL requested a content management system in order to keep the maintenance of the website easy and in-house. Webexpectations.com kitted the firm out with COMMA, and they can now update every page of the website without any dependance on a web team.
