We redesigned Mizuno's new European website and doubled visitor numbers in the process.
The brief
Mizuno's European website had to meet the needs of users in 27 countries and four languages. The old European sites had grown outdated and were difficult and cumbersome to use.
The new site would need to be engaging, user-friendly and accessible - competing with some of the world's best known golf brands such as Nike Golf and Ping.
What did we do?
Starting from scratch we carried out a complete re-design and build. Rich media and video was used to provide informative, engaging content.
Integration of our enterprise level Content Management System helped reduce site management costs by 45% and allowed Mizuno to focus their marketing budget on new online projects and traffic generation.
The result?
- Traffic levels have doubled – twice as many unique visitors
- People are staying much longer - average time spent on the site has increased by 180%
- CMS is working - 45% reduction in site management costs
